A specially designed ‘Gin & Jacqie’ bag will be on sale from 20 June 2012 in support of refugee children in Malaysia under a fundraising initiative called “Art With Heart: A Refugee Art Project”.
This was launched at Bangsar Village shopping complex here today in conjunction with World Refugee Day on 20 June.
This fundraising project is a collaboration between bag designer ‘Gin & Jacqie’ and UNHCR in Malaysia.
The bags are available at www.ginjacqie.com and Cziplee (Bangsar) at the price of RM24.
The initiative is supported by corporate donors Cziplee (Bangsar) who sponsored the art materials for the art competition, and Bangsar Village as the venue sponsor for the launch of the bag and exhibition on the artworks in conjunction with World Refugee Day.
